How to not lose your job in Vegas
And why practice is important to successful party time
‘Letting them go is going to cost us over a mil.’
I was speaking to the HR Director of a big global tech company.
They just fired one of their senior sales executives.
He got a bit whipped up on the annual sales trip to Vegas.
Sent it too hard and was inappropriate to the point of multiple complaints.
One so big they had to take action and let the person go.
I could tell this was one of the worst parts of the HR Director’s job and couldn’t help but think,
Well, you do send them to Vegas…
I found out later there aren’t many places around the world that can handle the numbers of staff flying in and their HQ was in the US so it made sense.
Sort of.
Fast forward to now and one of my private clients is about to head off to Vegas on a trip.
We’re about to apply some good ol fashioned intention in the lead-up.
The theory behind is…
We practice for almost everything we want to get good at.
Why don’t we do it for our vices!
