Rocking Rocktober and the Habit Loop Hack
What a time to be alive. What a time to count your tokens and work out which ones were worth it and which ones weren’t. Our simple system to ask was it worth it (yay or nay) is a powerful one. If we did that more often, we’d probably get better at all facets of life — relationships with psychotic Xs, kebabs at 4AM, Binge watching Netflix instead of taking the dogs for a walk… But we’re not here to talk about that. It’s all about conscious boozing, so let’s rip in.

STATS!
This is based on an approximate average of token crew’s updated numbers

OCTOBER LEARNING
Some full of wisdom, some just the things we do.
HABIT HACKERS ENGAGE

This is Charles Duhig’s Habit Loop from his book ‘The Power of Habit’. It is a spectacular way to deconstruct every little urge you have.
Everyone who skips a night on the booze (routine), sub it out for other things which sometimes help you to learn new skills n’ things. This is probably the most practical scientific way for us to understand how to hack drinking.
Is it with exercise, is it cooking a new dish for your buddys? Everyone is different. Change the routine, but make sure you get the reward. This might not be the numbing inebriation reward, but something of equal value, like a tighter booty in the mirror or your mate’s eyes when they see the delicious banquette you’ve prepared.

TOKEN DAYS
What we use our tokens / How we make it count

TOKEN DAYS OFF
The things we do instead of drinking are ALMOST the most important things we do

TOKEN WRITE UP OF THE MONTH
A cracker this month as we dive into Parker’s world. A guy who knew he would never spend 101, but wanted to help the rest of us on our journeys this year. Although I’m sure he’s learnt a thing or two about his drinking as well :D
Peace out Token Crew,
Benny
